They are an advertising and branding agency located in Dallas, Texas who specializes in working with challenger brands. Challenger brands are companies with ambitions that outpaced their budget and the passion to tackle their competitors. They also were ranked the #6 Best Place to Work by Ad Age in 2020.

Challenges

For RBA, development was something that they never wanted to have in-house. They really wanted reliable partners, because in past experiences it really had developed in-house and have it be profitable. That’s why they were always looking for a partner who could bring in their expertise, but that was easier said than done.

They actually had a development partner in Dallas that they worked with for several years, but that didn’t go well in the end. RBA was really looking for a partner that could become a part of their “extended family” and could really help their clients grow and that’s when they found DUDE.

Why they did they decied to give DUDE  a shot?

For RBA’s case, they really needed a development partner who could understand the big picture of their projects. Then also communication is super important with development and they didn’t want to wait 3-4 days after sending an email to their developers to get a response. DUDE had great communication processes in place which made us really excited at the potential for how they could help RBA.

DUDE showed us this great ticketing system and so right away we knew that we would have great communication channels. I think the longest we ever had to wait for a reply from our Pod Leader has been an hour which is huge. We definitely pride ourselves on being quick and nimble and agile and DUDE has made it a lot easier for us to live up to those principles.

What are some of the successes you’ve had since working with DUDE?

It’s been a fantastic solution for RBA. Working with DUDE is so much more than “outsourcing”. RBA has outsourced to almost every country imaginable from China to the Czech Republic and there are always issues with those places. With DUDE they have American business principles and communication standards.

There are no language barriers and DUDE works US-time zone so things happen super fast. Everyone that RBA has communicated with speaks English really well and DUDE is constantly working WITH them to solve problems for their clients and that helps RBA to grow the business as a whole.

Who do you recommend DUDE to?

Kace tells people to just “go for it!”. There are really not a lot of risks and for them, it was a no-brainer.

So it’s worth it to at least give it a shot and it worked out really well for RBA and he expects that you’ll have the same results.
